Today in class professor through all the websites and we discussed what was right in the blog and what was not. Then, we worked a little on the pallet coloring and trying different colors.

Here is what I have so far, but these are not the colors I exactly wanna use on my
Capstone project:

Okay so in class we played Website War basically the whole period with our groups
divided into 4.
Towards the end of class when our game was over, the professor told us to open
PhotoShop and try color combinations to see how it would look if we plan to
use them on our website.

Website Outline

1. My purpose for this website:
Use it for my presentation and have an visual backup to support my
presentation to the judges.

2. My target audience:
The judges,children/teens and my senior capstone professors.

3. Navigation Systems:
 Do something unusual. 
For example; buttons.

4. Organization Structures:
(Hierarchy Navigation)

5. Layout & Design:

*Colors: Since mines is about self-esteem which is under Psychological field.
Therefore, I'll be having an variety of color because it involves children's (for which I will use differ. colors)
and it also involves teen, so I'll have strong color; such as red to get peoples attention and to show the activities with colors.

*Organization: Div Tags, table, breaks, and for C.S.S ul & li and ol.

What kind of images are you looking for that fits your Capstone topic?

I'm looking for pictures that have to do with self-esteem; such as showing goals that one can make and be good at it for positive feedback to oneself and not be so negative.

MONDAY ; FEBRUARY 04, 2013

On Monday, the professor went over everyone's poster in class and we discussed what was missing and what not. After we went over all the posters, we were given instructions for our Capstone project poster and started looking for pictures that we are planning to put on the poster and do the planning.

Poster Practice- "Hormonal Disrupting Chemicals"

I decided to do this poster on birth control pills because many girls think if they take pills they are not going to get pregnant. Well, they're wrong! You can still get pregnant and have an abnormal baby; therefore, might as well not take those pills and keep yourself and the baby safe and healthy. The pills cannot only cause harm to the baby, it can also cause harm to you and your body. In class on Monday & Wednesday, we went over the PowerPoint on how to create a persuasive poster. Also, then the professor went over the instructions and we began working on our project. :)
